What we thought was going to be a good company couldn't have been worse. We hired CPP in May 2014. Job started the 10th of June. CPP said they would be done in about 5 days-give 2 days for weather so I buffered 8 days. First day, 2 guys showed up (one 21 and the other in his 40's). They were there for 3 hours, the next day only the 21 year old "prepping". Only put plastic on the front of the windows so I had to ask him to finish tapping all the way around the windows. The 3rd day they were there but apparently the caulk after they paint...we've never heard of this and voice concern many times. The due date was upon us due to company and that day came and went. The contract stated "DO NOT PAINT DOWNSPOUTS AND UNDER THE DECK"...they painted both and their sorry was a "Whoopsie and shoulder shrug" "but we'll extend the warranty for 2 years". Several weeks went by and they said they would be done done by July 3rd. THEY NEVER EVEN SHOWED UP called or texted. I contacted the owner and he finally responded after the 2nd attempt. After not prepping, not laying down paper below the garage door (yes, there is a black line across the entire drive) painting items specifically listed in the contract NOT TO PAINT were painted. They also painted 1/2 of the chimney cap (which is clay) and relieved their sprayer on the concrete. Many places bubbling cracking apart because they didn't caulk-we told them they are not welcomed back and are filing a lawsuit. We've retained another company to finish and fix their horrible job. They tried to fix some bubbling and just scrapped and repainted instead of actually sanding it and then painting it. This company lacks trained painters (they hire by contract and do not have staffed painters) customer service and most importantly quality. I've been in construction for over 20 years and this is the worst construction relationship I've ever had. He's told me he won't pay someone to fix his employees "work" but we won't let them back onto the property to make it worse.
I wish I would have seen measured up before hiring"Certa Don't". Don't make the same mistake we did.
